OmniScout is a useful app / tool for every team and program competing in the RECF Program. It keeps scoring, rules, event info and scouting in one place, and most of it works with no internet, which helps in a gym with bad reception.

Score calculators

Enter what happened on the field and get the match score, with calculators for each supported game.

Rulebook and Q&A

Read the game manuals and Q&A inside the app. Pages you've opened are saved for offline use, and you get a notice when a manual or Q&A is updated.

Events

Browse RECF approved events and filter by state, grade level, price and start date. Star events, add the ones you're attending to your planned list, and see a countdown to the next one and when registration closes.

Match Day

Add your event's match list by hand or paste it in. See how many matches are ahead of yours, an estimated start time, your partners and opponents, and get a reminder before each of your matches. Log scores to track your record, average score and streak.

Scouting

Keep a watchlist of teams with ratings, notes and pit photos. Add notes right from a match, and share a team profile with another OmniScout user by QR code.

Pit checklist and skills log

Run through a pre-inspection checklist, log failures, and keep a record of your skills runs.

Engineering notebook

Import your notebook file to keep it handy, with a link to RECF's judging rubric.

Backup and restore

Export all your app data to a file and restore it on another device.

No account, and no ads. Your notes, ratings, photos and schedules stay on your device. The app sends only anonymous crash reports and the bug reports you choose to submit. Read the full privacy policy.
