ABOUT THE
PROGRAM.

Capital High School Robotics is the VEX V5RC / RECF program at Capital High School in Charleston, WV, fielding student-run teams out of one build room.

Program

What We Do

Every robot on this roster is designed, built, coded, and driven by students — from CAD and PROS/C++ autonomous routines to the engineering notebook each team keeps season-round. The program competes under the RECF Achieve / VEX V5RC ruleset across qualifiers, state championship, and skills events.

All of the students on our competition teams are proud official members of the International Robotics Honor Society (IRHS). We plan to properly represent the people who support and encourage our program, and even more, our Wonderful State Of West Virginia.

RECF Achieve is a global middle/high school robotics program in which student teams design, build, and program their own VEX V5-based robots each season to compete in a new game.

One active team, Mutex (71881M), plus two retired teams: Breaking Bot and Better Call Bot. All three shared one build room and parts budget.
